That was my bad, I removed the pages and forgot to remove the links. Thanks for the notice.

Jon would you please consider a spammer report forum alongside this one. It is much more convenient than finding which mod is online. From recent experience I can tell you we do see them long before you guys at times.

Whichever mod finds a post there first is right on to the spammer, deletes his account and then deletes the report. Bang. Job done.

We already take care of Spammers very quickly.

We removed the report post button, because it e-mailed EVERY moderator and admin. Spam was getting removed usually within one hour of it being placed on the board, rendering the e-mails useless. So we removed the button to reduce the screen clutter.

Having a seperate forum for spammers is excessive, and if it came to it we'd just re-introduce the report post feature.

It doesn't need to be a separate forum, just make a thread in this one.

Like this one:

Staff can be identified by their names up at the top of the board, Bold names are mods/admins, Italic names are all else iirc. There's almost always a staff member on or not more than an hour away or so.

On that thought, if it does become a further issue, rather than making a whole new forum, we could just put up a sticky in the chatterbox called "Suspected Spammers", where members of the forum could post links to the profiles of suspected spammers (I say links because it makes the staffer's job easier and from there we can just view all posts, signature, etc. Real simple.

Good suggestion, CB, but at the moment, it's unneeded.

Bold = Admin & Mods
Italic = Other staff (Like myself for example)
normal = Everyone else
