Got a Saitek Cyborg keyboard, a 7.2v cordless duo set from Dremel (screw driver and dremel), and a sweet pen tracking digitizer that uses it's own pen and normal paper. Then plays it back on the computer. Since I design on paper, this may bee a boon for me! ;)

I made out real damn good this year! I still have to get to my dads and see what I got there. (yes I've seen him, just not at his house) He always has the most fun with christmas, one year he hung envelopes from the tree and we had to pick a couple and what ever number was inside we got the matcing gift. lol Good times.

Oh, TGS, my girl nearly died when she opened the "I Park Like An Idiot" stickers. +Rep on that one man.

I don't think the gf will see this so I might as well put it in. She gave me her diamond solitaire for when I am ready to ask the girlfriend that one question. It's been 4 years, and the topic has been brought up more and more recently, so sometime in the near-ish future I will be asking that question. She's been with me through my sickness, and surgery, and with the surgery to remove it coming up, and the potential problems that poses, I want her to know how I feel, in case anything happens to me. I don't want something to happen and never have showed her that.

No love for CRTs, eh? I'll be keeping my dual 21"s for another year, happily. They heat the house.

Anyway, I got...

- My grandmother's laptop. She passed away a couple months ago, and my grandfather's computer-illiterate, so he passed it down to me. Inspiron 9400, 1.73 GHz Core Duo, gig of RAM, 80GB, crap onboard GMA 950 (but some of 'em came with 7800GTX/7900GS/x1400, so if I can find any of those cheap enough, I might upgrade).

- The Dell so/ho laser printer and Microsoft wireless mini-optical mouse she had with it. And a spare toner cartridge, I think.

- A Post-It reading "$100 on NewEgg". Inside a plastic Easter egg, no less. Easier than a gift certificate, and this way I can choose my own new hard drive.

- Some decent Skullcandy earbuds, and a set of terrible (though admittedly convenient) FM wireless headphones. I'll find a use for the latter, I'm sure.

- A couple gift cards - one to a local bookstore (which I'll use at some point), one to Wal-Mart (which I'll probably have my mother use next time she needs to go there, since it'd be more useful as cash).

- A cute LED flashlight (3 AAA batteries, end-cap pushbutton switch).

- An adorable Craftsman micro-bar clamp. (Made in Slovakia, no less.)

- A box of Whitman's chocolates, assorted (which will take me a while) and a jar of cashews (which won't).

- $20. I think it was $20. Cash, anyway.

- A book (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=207678735&listingid=30231225&dcaid=17902) entitled "WTF" that attempts to explain what your best course of action is in a given terrible situation. Or, sometimes, what it isn't.

Anyway, that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Hehe...I'm a cattle ranch boy at heart, and yet I'd take an elk steak over any beef cut any day of the week.
