I just found out my 52 year old mom is pregnant by a guy she's only been dating a short while. This guy came into her life the very instant he found out she was at that time coming into an inheritance. Since then she's taken care of HIM. Wow, I don't even know how to feel right now. The odds of her having a normal child are slim to none. Since she met this new piece of work, she's become an alcoholic... pops pills... and being 52 years old... if the kid even lives, it's going to have severe issues and most likely live a miserable life.

popping pills and drinking is no good when you're pregnant. I feel sorry for that baby.

Smoking too... probably should have mentioned that. Not to mention if the kid does turn out disabled, who's going to take care of it when the "parents" are in diapers? (if they even live that long).

Just a really ****ed up scenario no matter which way you look at it.

That seems to be awkward and slightly depressing, but exciting cause babies always are.

As soon as that thing pops out, call CPS. Don't even give the kid a chance of living a ****ed up life. Nobody deserves that.

Why wait to call them? Have you tried a heart to heart talk with your mom? Maybe all she needs is to hear the truth from someone..
