Found through a different site. Buy.com has GTX280's for $191+ AR.

Buy.com GTX 280's (http://www.buy.com/retail/usersearchresults.asp?querytype=home&qu=gtx+280&qxt=home&display=col)

Could be a pricing fluke, or trying to dump stock due to low sales and 55nm refresh coming. Just grabbed an EVGA GTX 280 SC for $191AR + tax ($20 Evga rebate).

Many of the cheaper ones have sold out already, but theres still a few PNY's for $225, and some of the BFG watercooled for $324.

I've got order confirmation, and paypal account has successfully been charged, but I won't get too happy until it's arrived.

Now a BFG is the cheapest card on that page ($221.49), that EVGA is back up to $346.49 after rebates.

Whoa! These are are the same price I was planning on paying for my 260GTX when I get my tax return. But now I'm going to definitely check Buy.com in about a month and hope they still have cheap GTX 280's.

Ya, now the SC doesn't even show up there for me. I'm not getting to excited till I get it.

I did get order confirmation email, and extended warranty emails from them. Email said I would be getting the shipping confirmation when that goes though. I've been charged and all that, so hopefully it goes through, as its not just one card thats going real low, but multiple cards and multiple variations.

Geeze, was that a one day fire sale or something, no more sub $300 cards on that page today.

Hope the SC shows up for you, that's one heck of a deal (if it shows up that is).

Ya, all the deals are gone. It went through several different forums like a bat out of hell. I got in on mine really early, and remembered to post it here later on in the day after I had some free time, so hopefully I will get it.

Who knows though. There is a lot of debate on whether any of these will go through. I guess I will just have to wait till tomorrow to see. When I saw the deals I should have went straight for the PNY, as that would have been the last one most people would have picked.

Well orders can be recalled once shipped, but my order says complete, and I've been issued a UPS tracking number.

My buy.com page says order shipped 1/12/2009.

Well upon some research it seems a few people are getting there's canceled for various reasons, but these people's progress was far below what mine was at.

Just now I got this from buy.com:

I might turn around and craigslist it for some extra cash, haven't decided. I could use it as the 320mb 8800GTS has been hitting its performance wall especially with AA/AF raised past x2. This effect has worsened a bit since the 2nd 22" LCD was added this xmas. Idk, either way, I get a card or extra cash. If I keep the card the GF's pc will be upgraded from the 2x7600GS SLi, though it might need a new PSU, but that's no biggie.

EDIT: Looks like it will be coming in, as UPS tracking shows its already gone from Cali to Philly and should be at my family's house tomorrow. =)

Well looks like this was just a pricing mistake, order got recalled and now I'm not getting it. :(

Na, I'm just kidding. It arrived on my families doorstep today at 4:11Pm EST!

I'll run down and pick it up and a couple other things of mine Friday most likely. Still haven't decided on keep or sell, but I am leaning towards keeping it. I've got enough I've got to dump on Craigslist. Plus that gives me a 7600gs to put in my brothers computer maybe. He hasn't been going to school and has been quite mean to the rest of the family from what I hear, so I'm not sure rewarding him now is such a good idea, but the option would be there.
