Alright, so on Saturday I ordered a Logitech VX Nano through priority overnight shipping (FedEx 1Day) with rush order processing with newegg. When I checked the tracking info yesterday it said it would be here by 10AM, its now 3PM. Furthermore, when I go to newegg and check the tracking, the arrival date is no longer there (removed?) and its in Memphis Tennesee, shipped from California. I live in IDAHO. All my info is correct, so I'm assuming they made a shipping error? Also, it should of been in by now and it obviously won't be in until tomorrow (Shipped Jan 11th 2009). I spent something like $25 extra dollars so I could get it asap, needless to say I'm a little annoyed.

What should I do? Should I email Newegg or FedEx or something?

Thanks for the number, I'll give them a call ASAP. They better refund me my money, or at least a good chunk of it. That shipping cost a lot! I still think its pretty stupid that they don't ship on weekends though. I can't see a reason why not, what are they, religious or something? Pff.

I live in Northern Idaho.

I've worked in a call center long enough to say, you're one of those b******s who make someone's job a living hell. Being restraint and calm even when you're really unhappy is very good practise. Imagine if you were on the other end of the phone, would you like it?

This is on the lines of what I was thinking as well. They are just doing their jobs, no reason to be angry at them. Mistakes happen, its just a part of life. And in this case, support has nothing to do with the error that was made, so I have no reason to be anything less than pleasant to them. In fact, I should be the most pleasant experience of their day. They'll probably enjoy a smooth transaction for once and hopefully go the extra mile for me.

However, if he or she starts trying to be a weasel, or if they are anything less than acceptably pleasant, I'll put an end to it quicker than an executioner at a guillotine, but in such a way where I am still annoyingly pleasant and more importantly, in the right and without giving them any leverage against me. :)

But so help me god, if I can't understand a word they are saying. I'm just going to hang up and call again. lol I can't freaking stand poor outsourcing, regular outsourcing is bad enough!

no kidding. freaking outsourcing to india might help your overhead, but it doesn't help with your customer service points thats for damn sure.
