printers?

anyone ever modded a printer? just curious. my ugly printer is an eyesore and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. I was thinkin some led's would be sweet... wonder what a plexi printer would look like if its possible. thoughts?

It would probably be a fun adventure. You could start by painting the case, then you could rig up some hidden LEDs to glow on the print tray whenever it is printing. Also, if you have a long exposed tray for document feeding or for print catching you could modify that with a cutout or etched design to match your theme.

Whenever I get around to building my ultimate desk I will be integrating a printer into it, so all you see when you click print is a document sliding out of a small slit in the desk and landing in a nice paper tray next to you.
