Seems like coolermaster has been doing a fairly decent job of coming out with some really nice coolers. they like them big, like the gemin II, but they are more about cooling all components, than just the cpu.

Coola Masta bustin the rhymes and keepin it chill son!

Er, sorry, that thing is massive though. You could pretty much build a custom case around it. Or, for you miniature guys, build a computer inside it.

not sure what you can see :)

but its called the V12 for some reason. there is only 8 full heat pipes so that should be the v8.

Here's my GeminII atop a standard midtower. You're not kidding about "big".

It fit in, barely a millimeter to spare front and rear, and I had to remove the exhaust fan entirely to get it in... a pair of 120mm fans will do that.

On the other hand, it fits beautifully into my new Antec 1200, but then, you'd expect it to...

Anyway, the V10's got a Peltier sandwiched inside it. Crazy stuff even without that; can't wait to see how it does...

That computer chassis looks like it caught some aids or something.

No you see 8. The heatpipes double back on them selves making it appear to be 16.

This is a nice cooler but since I have gone WC I wouldn't go back to air for my main high powered rig. Air coolers get very big plus good ones weigh a lot and I don't want the strain on my board.

Yep saw the same on TechPowerUp. A TRUE120 cools as well as it. It's cheaper to get a TRUE and a dedicated RAM cooler plus it will perform better.

I think for the trouble of that cooler you might as well have just gone/done water lol. those things have to be heavy. personally i would just get a TRUE they seem to be the best on the market right now.

I have to agree. I can't help but wonder what kind of stress that this much weight puts on the motherboard.

That said, if I were to get one of these coolers, I would scratch build a case around it and install the mobo horizontally instead of vertically. In fact...this is giving me an idea...

I have a TRUE120, motherboard has been fine for over a year now.

I think he was saying that the true would be okay, the V10 would be too much.

No matter what, if you can drag that thing to a LAN party, you're gonna outshow the guy who turns up with a hot Russian model.

At least my eye candy can walk! Good luck! Bwahahaha. ;)
