The form factor and lack of demand for these type of products is why they're expensive, also because they have EEC (all but one).

1GB SDRAM is expensive, but looking at some of the other prices, such as $22.something for a 64MB flash drive, it would appear as though most of the prices haven't been updated for some time.

That's memory for a Cisco Router.. Check this out from another site (http://www.memoryx.net/memise512a2pk.html) $799 for 512mb.

The worst part is I bet they get sales.... I've seen some ebay stores with INSANELY overpriced oem (sometimes used) parts and they had thousands of feedback. Some people are just so stupid they look for the biggest number and assume "You get what you pay for" so the most $ must be the best part.
