Well 7-8PM yesterday, parts of my town 'lost' power, and to make things all the much better it was a hot night.... 32c(89.6f). The cause? An "interruption due to severe weather conditions". Translation: A transformer somewhere melted. We had some power (as in not 240v.... but I wasn't going to stick in a multimeter to check what it was) and it fluctuated a lot but our fridge (which has a small LED display to show the temp in the fridge/freezer) had enough power to power the electronics, and my father's 'laptop' (the charging circuit in the laptop doesn't work, so no battery power) was able to be turned on and used.

It probably takes 100V-240V.

Yes it does, but I'm still surprised it was working.

Hehe, after the last couple days here, I'd gladly trade you! We finally broke the freezing mark today. And to think it was in the 60s here last week...

Currently it's 26c here in Adelaide (where I am anyway) at 12.10am. Got up to 46c here today, I went for a drive to cool down lol. Gonna be 38c plus whether here until next Friday, probably longer. Last year Adelaide broke it's heatwave streak with 15 days above 38c lol.

Ha. Reminds me of here in Idaho, where you can experience major changes in the weather within the same day. One moment you're relaxing on the beach soaking up some rays, the next you're running for cover trying to get out of a freak hail storm. Although thats only happened to me once in my entire life, but still provides for an interesting story. You usually don't see hail during any of the summer months. lol
Northern Idaho is just one big pile of random weather as far as I'm concerned. Its pretty much pointless to try and dress appropriately. Yesterday I was freezing my ass off, today I'm walking around in my boxers.
