question about xbox live

hello all my wife bought me a 1 month live gold subscription for my 360 the fee one ran out and i am broke lol she got it or me till i go back to work and hopefully can get a 12 month well i put in the numbers went fine went to sign in with my email said the pass was wrong and i checked my email just to make sure everything was right all seems fine well it says i have a gold subscription on the website and on the website but everytime i sign in it says silver any ideas ? thanks all in advance .

how many users are on your 360? my friend for example has 2. he uses his first acount when i play at his house but uses another account when he goes online. the gold membership is tied to his second account.

so when you say it said the pass was wrong do you mean the code number off the card for the gold membership or your password for your account?

seems like something microsoft help would be better asked then us. they can/should be able to look into it and fine out whats what.
