"when 150 mcg is the legal limit for drivers above 15 and under 20."

All this time I was lead to believe that drinking under the age of 21 was always illegal.

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drinking_age#Oceania), New Zealand has no minimum drinking age, but one cannot purchase alcohol until the age of 18. Furthermore, if an underage individual is "punk in drublic" and not accompanied by a guardian, the police will hold 'em till they sober up, and confiscate the beverage.

Same deal here in Australia lol but the drinking laws are more severe. No purchasing or drinking of alcohol from/in a licensed establishment or dispensery (grog shop lol) under the age of 18.

We are more lenient on smoking though. Can smoke at 16 but can't buy until 18.

That is pretty funny. Yeah in a lot of the world the drinking age is 18 and in europe it can be 16. 21 is quite old. In the US though if I am right drinking age is done on a county by county basis.

My mate was an exchange student in Germany for 6 months. He said legal are is 16 for beer and fortified wine, 18 for spirits, that would have been pretty cool lol. Correct me if I am wrong.

It is state by state, but the federal government put out a law saying if you don't have the drinking age at 21, we cut all your funding. Thus, the 21 and older law in the US. a lot of states used to be 18.

EDIT: WTF is a 14 yr old pregnant girl doing drinking, let alone driving? C'mon Darwin, you are letting the human race down.

I liked one of the comments about the resemblance to pop singers... if only she lived in America!
