When I open anything and try to type, it says LOCKED. When I try to uninstall it says corrupted... This definitely makes me want to buy your product M$... when the trial runs out it's stuck on my rig (this is actually going on on my gfs mom's computer... not mine thankfully)? I think not... but so far it seems that way. Anyone have any ideas besides reformatting?

So far I've tried going into the registry and deleting the trial serial key but it's not in the registry...

I've tried going into Add/remove

I've tried safe mode

I've tried re-installing the trial then deleting

I've tried repairing the files

Well to my surprise I too am now having this issue on MY rig. I had to install the "60 day" trial for a class I'm taking and it turns out it expires after a week. This is absolutely ridiculous. So far it seems to be deleting from my laptop which is great but I need office to complete the course!!! I don't have 500 bucks to shell out for office ulitimate.

Do you need 2007?

Unfortunately. To top it off it has to be pro or ultimate.

that sucks. Did something happen with the system clock that made it expire a little too soon?

I tried this but got confused on "Step 1: Remove any remaining Windows Installer packages of the 2007 Microsoft Office system:

1. Click Start, click Run, type installer, and then click OK.

This process opens the %windir%\Installer folder.
2. On the View menu, click Details.

Important To use the View menu in Windows Vista, you must press the ALT key first to display the menu bar, and then click the View menu.
3. On the View menu, click Choose Details.
4. Click to select the Subject check box, type 340 in the Width of selected column (in pixels) box, and then click OK. "

Type 340 where? Instead I just went down to office 07 and right clicked/unisntall but it didn't work.
