View Full Version : Why I Haven't Finished My Mod

So here's why I have yet to finish Passion. My 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R came into my life on Friday, and it is love. The jacket I'm wearing isn't a riding jacket at all, which accounts for me looking like more of a balloon in some of the pics on the bike. I'll be going out and about this coming weekend to get my riding gear. If anyone has any suggestions for reasonably priced gear, I prefer a silver/white/black color scheme to match the helmet and bike.

This is who Passion is for:

The front view is the only one I don't like:

Whatever you do, dear god please be safe. TBCS lost one of it's greatest members to a motorcycling accident.
Having said that, she looks pretty hot! and the bike ain't too bad, either!
Ride safe, have fun, etc etc.

I've ridden for many years, nice pickup! You'll outgrow that 250 quick though, start looking for a ninja 500 :D
mines on the right, used to look like the one on the left :D

I don't ride, but those Ninja's are a pretty sexy bike!
Keep safe and enjoy!

I plan on keeping the Ninja for either her or a future generation, and unless some spiffy new bike comes out I'm probably gonna go for a CBR600 when the time is right.

honestly, dont waste your time with the CBR. GEt something a little more comfy and user-friendly like an SV650:

or an SV650S:

650cc v-twin (newer ones are FI instead of carb), nice low-end torque, sounds awesome with a pipe, much more comfy and upright than the CBR. You wouldnt be dissapointed :D

The 650S is my second option. But like I said, I'll have the 250 for a few years before I move up.

That passed through my head as well. Bucko loved his 'murdercycle', so he'd tell you to ride on. Then he'd show you his scars. :D Just be careful bro! :)

If it wasn't supposed to be "her bike" too, I'd suggest a nice coat of flat black, of course. Looks sharp, though!
I don't care for the front view so much, either, but only 'cause of the Cavalier in the garage. ;)

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned my little "comment" yet.
I bet dave saw it. ;)

Cavalier is definitely not mine nor hers. My dad's place doesn't have a garage, and I haven't brought it to college yet, so we're storing it at a friends place.
And yes, I caught the comment. And yes, I will always ride protected. I already told you I'm going out to get new leathers this weekend :D

when you upgrade, i second the sv650. I'll vouch for it being an awesome bike. due to low insurance, easy to ride, but yet, when you want it to be, (if you get that far and reckless) a wheelie machine. Love your gixxer though. best "affordable" bike every made
I'll also agree on not wasting your time for a cbr.
And like SXRguyinMA says, you'll outgrow that bike pretty quick. i give it a season of riding before you are out looking for at least a ninja 500r or an sv650.
Just go out and buy a nice Ducati 749s, 848, or 999s. or maybe an aprilia. That will def get the ladies.
