View Full Version : The Game of Letters

Does anyone know this game? The rules are simple; The next word must begin with the last letter of the previous word. No word may be used twice within each session of a game. In our case, a session will be this thread. So unless someone creates a whole new thread, no word can be used twice. No person can post consecutively, or in other words, you can only post again after someone else has posted! Now for an example, just so we are clear on how to play.
Category: None.
Ball > Lollipop > Popsicle > Elephant > Telephone ...etc., etc.
Get it? Got it? Good!
So lets begin!
The category is; Animals! (Be thankful I didn't use words that rhyme! Now thats hard!)
The First Word is; Dog!
The game ends when there are no other words to use for the category selected. The last person to have posted a correct word wins a +rep by me and maybe others! So think hard!

Alright, lets make it harder. You get bonus points if you can rhyme the next word with the last word.

eagle.
Maybe we should limit it to just birds capable of flight now. It will trim it down a bit. What do you think Zephik? And maybe set a rule that says you can only post once per page (i.e I posted on page 3, now I'm posting on page 4).

3 mistakes so far...
Post 28 XcOM posted literally 1 minutes after BuzzKillington with the same letter.
Post 34 Billygoat333 posted Kitten when the last letter was "E".
And Post 39 Datech reposted Eagle.

Crap, completely missed mtekk's post. Shall we refine our topic before we go on?

Post 34 Billygoat333 posted Kitten when the last letter was "E".
the previous word was karate, which isn't an animal last time I checked so I went to the word before that :D
