we have a computer that the screen compacts on it shelf towards the middle and the vga plug on the computer it self is lose

The plug on the back of the computer, itself is loose? The plug must have seperated from the board if you don't get any signal. It could be soldered back on (maybe) or a new video card installed. Let me know if I misunderstood the question.
