For some reason I thought that people were going to stop having things 50% off... shows you how well my mind works when I'm tired, lol.

On a more related note, it's too bad I don't have like $100 to buy copies of this game for people with, lol. I could use a good multiplayer game to play with muh fambly.

I just grabbed L4D for roughly $15, thanks to another forum.

Its a Polish site, but this one is English translated. Everything I've come across has been that they are a legit site, just one in Poland. Ordered L4d through paypal and got my steam key instantly. Went to steam, popped it in, and worked flawlessly. Dl'ing and installing now.

Also picked up the HL pack (on their site listed as CS) which includes CS, CS Steamworks beta, Day of Defeat, Deathmatch Classic, Half-life, Hl: Blue shift, Opposing force, Ricochet, and Team Fortress Classic for ~6.50. Same deal, key worked great and installing now.

If your not in Europe though, just don't grab the MMO's, because I believe those are for the European servers only.

I don't get why cod4 is on steam but it wont let me use my cod4 key... then that site says no steam for cod4. wtf? lol

Because afaik the two different versions, keywise, are not compatible. You can not use a retail key to register the game under steam. Only keys purchased through steam work under steam for COD4.

The site isn't selling keys for the steam version, they are selling the retail version.

Edit: Even if the game is on steam for steam purchase, only certain retail games can have their keys tied to steam. Steams official list can be found here (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-WUSF-3601).

good info. I wish they'd due away with that bs because I'd love to have all of my games on steam.
