Just curious if anybody owns or has played the full version? I played the demo last night. Even though its only 3 races, it was pretty sweet. I was limited to my keyboard arrows or AWSD but was able to finish first a few times. The drifting is really hard to do with the keyboard though.

Just looking to get anybody elses input on what they think.

Only 3 Cars available on demo

BMW (Race Track)
Silvia (Drifting)
Mustang (Road Course)

I own it for Xbox360, and it's great. I'm not that far into it yet though, I hope to finish Forza 2 first.. which might take awhile, since I'm playing Left4Dead and RockBand more than anything else right now..

When you say its a challange, were you able to come close or beat the score of the opponent. If its the same as PC, I think it was like 700K. I've only gotten somewhere in the 100K with the keyboard. lol

I can't say I remember the other tracks, in the drifting track they give you G's for your crash. I went on a G mode to see how high I could get it and stopped when I reached 128 G's hitting the wall straight on at about 125ish. lol

I cant imagine playing it with a keyboard!

Get yourself an old Xbox controller, and chop it for a usb connection. Download the driver, and you have an instant *CHEAP* gamepad for your pc. :)

Or if you have a ps2 controller, just buy the adapter. If you have a sixaxis just plug in and Download the driver,.

I have both controllers (PS2 and PS3). I just assumed it wouldn't work and didn't even think to look for a driver for the PS3 controller. It is definitely a challenge with the keyboard. I use both hands to play. Left hand does Accel and Left Turn, Right hand does the Brake and Right turn. Spacebar is the E-Brake.

Also, Xbox360 controllers (wired) can be plugged in and used with a downloaded driver too. :)

Thanks. I'll try the PS3 controller first just because I already own it. Looks like the 360 controller is about 30-45 bucks.

I just put a regular USB plug on my no name xbox controller. I use it with racing, N64, and gamecube games on my computer.

I found the driver for it but haven't had the chance to try it yet. The review say it works if you follow the directions. Imagine that! lol

I'm still going to try it but I was at walmart yesterday and bought it for PS3. Sweet! It's way better then the demo.

I have it for PC and my cousin has it for PS3. I started with the demo using a d-pad controller (now joy stick) and got 8million in drift on normal difficulty, I find drift insanely easy, the silvia may not be the best drift car on paper but i find it the best.

If you want a real challenge do drift with all the perks off (traction controll, break assist and the other one) makes it extremely difficult, you spin the wheels right up into 6th gear lol. I usually race with everything off except TC.

I wasn't able to score that high on the PS3 but for the first drift challenge they did make it pretty easy (normal mode with assists). I was over 150K on all 3 races, the opponent every time if I remember correctly was under 90K. I don't like turning everything off. Some reason some of it seems (can't say from experience) too unrealistic. I mean, really, you tap the gas and your car start to do doughnuts? C'mon. And that's pretty much any game that has these assist options.

That's why you leave TC on. Breaking assist just stops the breaks locking up if you apply them for too long/hard. Stability controll just makes sure your car doesn't slide around as much. Much more fun without those two lol.

I'll have to try it. Most of the cars don't seem to have any problems sliding around (not just in drift) with Brake Assist and Stability. I know as the race goes on, parts get worn, but some of them do it very easily even at the beginning. Still an awesome game
