I've been dreaming of a new TV for some time now and I finally found one for a great price. I picked up a 32 inch Sharp Aquos for $405 (Originally retailed for $900 a year ago).

I couldn't go bigger because of my entertainment center and as you can see it's a perfect fit with maybe a 1/16 of an inch on the sides.

I think you need to mod that entertainment center. Good buy on the TV though.

Talking details about a TV to TGS is like trying to explain to a customer how to turn there computer on :D Grats the purchase :p

My 40" Sony LCD fits so good I don't even have to put the Back wall mount on it.....

It fit so good you didn't have to take the factory plastic off either huh?

I have the 37" Sharp Aquos, exactly the same as yours TGS, just 5" bigger. It was easily the nicest picture at the store when I bought it, even though it's only 720p.
I'm really happy with it, and you will be too. :)

It's always good to keep your valuables wrapped in some sort of plastic or rubber when trying to fit it in a tight spot...
I had to say that, sorry, I lurk wayyyy to much and felt the need to post something. Oh wait! I got a new 22" Acer Monitor, sadly I'm too lazy to upload pictures from my camera.

No where on mine does it say anything about 1080i or 720p. I'm confused

If you connect a PC to it, the resolution should be auto detected. If it's 1080p, it will go to 1920x1080. If it's 720p, it will max out at 1368x720. :)
Also, most 720p tvs can do 1080i (not 1080p). The difference between the i and the p is interlaced vs progressive. Progressive means that it redraws the entire screen every frame, whereas the interlaced ones draw every other line every frame. That means a higher "theoretical" resolution, but IMHO lower quality with lots of movement on the screen (ghosting/lines).
I hope that makes sense.. You could always just google the model of the tv to see what it says. :)
