What exactly is a "wootoff"? I went to woot last night and it was some lame flashlight pack and now it's a gen1 night vision monocular. I see nothing about a "wootoff" except for a link that says "join the wootoff discussion."

A Wootoff is when Woot clears inventory of stuff they have left over from previous days. Instead of just one item a day, on a Wootoff there are multiple items, a new one appearing once the previous sells out. This goes on until they are out of stuff, or they pass a certain date/time. Do not rely on the Woot discussion during a Wootoff for accurate accounts of the quality of the product as people will lie to get the items to sell faster (or slower depending on their agenda which is to try to snipe a "Bag of Crap").

Ah, so far it's been pretty ****ty stuff/deals. Hopefully it's just getting started? Would be sweet if I could make a little money off of one of their deals.
