Well,

Its my first time modding anything..

Basic Microsoft OpticalMouse

Your standard 10 dollar cheapy..

Took the puppy apart, Threw down some Rustoleum black paint... and it looked AMAZING.. flat black, so I decided to get creative, I started masking off "Zebra" looking stripes..

Painted it white, and boy oh boy did I screw up.


Didnt notice the little tiny air gaps on the side of the blue masking tape.. so it made these nasty little pockets of paint...
Needless to say I sanded the bejesus out of the thing.

then threw another black coat over the entire thing, waiting for it to dry now.

But dang this is so much friggin fun i cant even begin to explain..

A buddy and my self stripped an old ATX down today, I've painted the entire chassis black.. We're just waiting for parts while we work on the "outer" case..

His old lady went down and got the spray-paint that looks like stone.. So hopefully it'll turn out! Cant wait to post pictures~~

It sure is amazing how easy this stuff is, but at the same time... it can be as complicated as you want it too be! learning fast! will be modding my mind numb!

Its almost like crack. I Started a mouse and comp today, suddenly found my self stripping another old ATX down and preping it while the other drys.. LOL

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new hobby and also dragging a friend along with you! It's a money pit but at this rate it will be a money sinkhole in no time. :)
