My friend need a new computer. I cant build one fro him. And he has very limited funds. I am looking for a place where he can buy a cheap computer that does some games as battlefield 2 on lower graphics at ok speeds. I need it real cheap and to be bought over the net. Anyone know what i should get.

Pawn shops are also a good way to find a starter setup. I found a 2.4ghz comp with half a gig of ram and a decent vid card at my local pawn shop the other day for $280. Toss in a few more bones on upgrades and you've got a moderate gaming rig.

This seems to be decent priced.. If you get one of the Dell Towers on the cheap you could add a Vidcard and game.. I know its not optimum.. but better then nothing..

EDIT:The Dell Desktop cases have AGP slots BUT they only accomdate low profile cards.. The Tower cases will accomodate a full sized AGP card.. Here is a decent example.. http://www.hcditrading.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1897676/vpcsid/0/SFV/29664/order/asc/order_by/sell_price
add like a $40 FX5200 and your under 400 bucks. Like I said not optimal but better then nothing..

Ibuypower.com (http://ibuypower.com) ften has good gaming computers for dirt cheap, if you want to find one and not build it. You're probably looking at closer to $500 to $600 for their baseline gaming rigs, but they're pretty solid, from what I've seen.
