Mirror's Edge requirements?!

Rather than ressurrect the pre-release thread on this game I thought I would start this one. I was reading the system requirements on the box last night and it says it needs a 3GHz processor?! That has got to be a record for CPU requirements, and if that's a minimum they've surely cut their customer base down radically. Has anyone successfully played this game with less?

That's 3 GHZ P4. A 1.6 Core 2 Duo will easily handle it. Most games say 3 GHZ P4.
