Well with the lack of games I'm interested in being on 360 lately I wanted to do SOMETHING with it while it was on vacation. So I tore it apart and grabbed the paint. Here's some teasers ;)

The clearcoat is drying right now, I'm about to crash after an all nighter or two (I can't even remember now) so it should be dry and ready to put back together when I wake up. I'll post pics of the finished project. And if you like the artwork check out www.fscwasteland.com, it's all hers. I'm just borrowing it with premission ;)

Thats... mad, that controller really does look crazily-good, and the artwork on the side is so good. Nice work, looking forward to some more.

I figure that's about what I look like when I play on live so it fit :D
It took awhile to fall asleep and I checked up on the clearcoat and had a little more to add so it's going to be this afternoon (right after work) before it's together again. And look forward to more, I've had request for quite a few including fallout 3 (thinking raiders or vaultboy), nazi zombies, and zombie pikachu. I hang out at the local video game chain store a lot haha. Update after work! Thanks for the compliments guys!

I'll have her in her new home later, gotta take a shelf off my entertainment stand to fit it upright and didn't feel like it right now. Thanks for looking! And again, if you like the art go to www.fscwasteland.com It's all hers, I just borrowed it.

Is this finished? If so, you should snap a couple of pictures with a clean background and I'll post it in the gallery.

It's finished but I snapped the pics right after I put it together on my work/coffee table. About to head out to work. I'll take some better ones when I get back. And hopefully with something better than my low rez iphone camera :dead:

That is some great artwork man. If you are still on the forums when I get my business going, I might send some cases your way if you'll take a gift for your services. And just so everyone doesn't think this is a pitch, I plan on getting everyone in on the action in some way or another since there are so many talented artists and craftsmen here.

I'm here if you ever need anything NES, etc. related.

Looks great. How did you paint it? Airbrush? Careful stencil and rattlecan?

@SgtM
The base coat is AB, some of the bigger areas are AB too, but most of the fine lines are done with a standard ol' paintbrush. My AB skills weren't up to par for this.

Very cool paint work. I strongly reccomend applying some good thermal paste to the heatsinks on the Xbox, it will help a lot, perhaps also upgrading the cooling system. I know there are a few kits around. +rep

Hey can you explain how you went about painting your 360? Was it airbrushed or handpainted? I am trying to get into airbrushing but finding its expensive for a starter who has none of the components already.

Mixture of AB and paintbrush. I can offer advice if you want. I have a cheap kit.

Looks great. Here's a video that might help you out on fine line and such. (Can't get to youtube right now to give you a direct link there).
