Its not cheaper its just on sale. They are probably trying to move some old stock or something.

I'd go with the Caviar RE WD2500YD, it has 16mb cache vs the 8mb in the other. It's cheaper as it's on "sale" probably in order old stock as danthegeek said. Newegg may be dumping their remaining stock of them and may stop carrying them soon (the RE is an older drive model, they are up to RE3 now I believe).

Hey thanks i think im going to get one im still using a 80 gig wd ide lol should be a nice upgrade lol thanks again all that bites i just went to order it and its deactivated dang it lol
