This could add some very interesting options in the modding world.

Brilliant.. I'm thinking of a hundred uses for this already.
Attach a HDD enclosure, and use it as a media server.
Run it as a headless torrent box.
Integrate it into an X10 automation system.
Linux Firewall!
etc etc etc

I am with Luke.. there are a TON of things you can do with them..
What about chopping one up and using it as a controller in a mod.. SWEET!

I finally had to thumb down that product on StumbleUpon because I was hitting news reports about it twice an hour. A lot of these products will continue to pop up, and they aren't new (but certainly cool!!).
Here is my favorite: http://www.chippc.com/thin-clients/jack-pc/

This is true.. I have been following units like this for a while. But like the Jack-pc the price/performance ($300+) factor has never really been in the favor of using one. It was more of a niche market that had to have the spcialized foot print, who would pay the premium for a unit as such. This unit really caught my attention since it could work out to be sub 100 or as they projected aprox $50.
Now we are talking worth it!! Now where the hell is my flying car! :P
