Current Hardware:
CPU: AMD Phenom 9850
Graphics: XFX GeForce 8600gt XXX
RAM: Corsair (Dual-Channel) 8gb DDR2 800
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache X2 <--Not Yet Purchased
The Build will feature a 1.5 - 3 " extension on the top plus a 3-4" Extension down the bottom. T he Top extension will be the compartment for the liquid cooling system; likewise, down the bottom will be the compartment for the power supply and the Harddrives/ extra hardware. There will also be an added 5" TFT LCD for monitoring Liquid cooling/overclocking.
Also on each side of the case 6 (3 to a side) 60mm Fans will pop-out for extra airflow.

The fan on the CPU cooler is a CM fan cos the cooler is made by CM, the other two are stock standard Antec fans.
Looks to be a good mod, I'll be watching ;).

Well after taking everything off the case, I found out a couple new things. Also, yes that is a geminII S from cooler master (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103046).
Onto the build!
After taking off the fan holders for the harddrive cooling I figured out that the holes would be a perfect size for an LCD screen! Measuring at 7" diagonal and 5" both high and wide its a perfect size.
(The two holes on the right)
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/001.jpg
The Mesh for the fan on the top will be cutout for the opening of the liquid cooling to enter the case. You will not see the hole anyways because there will be a 2.5" high extension.
Last thing to mention is the bottom of the case, with everything moving (HDD's + CD Drive) What will I do with the space towards the front of the case? Suggestions plz... I am a little bummed out at that, cause I think I will have made too much space.

Can't wait to see where this goes!
I'll have to look up some performance reviews on that Gemini, as it looks pretty affordable. I need something for my lanbox lite, as my P4 524 is going on 60C, and thats with an extra 80mm exhaust and a vantec 2x pci fan bringing cool exhaust from the other side. I was looking at the Enzotech Ultra-x but that's ~60$. The gemini looks like it will fit well, i.e. <110mm tall.

Look at Tom's Hardware and Newegg for some reviews, they always have some good stuff. I will take a test on it again tonight and give you some temps from it...
I finally got the routing tip for my dremel! I was so happy this afetrnoon, anyways does anyone got an airbush set-up thats cheap and willing to sell? I pay first before you ship!

Well I do not have a current pic but here is the latest info, the hdd drive bays have been 'hacked' out of my pc for the beginning of the mod. The top 3 bays of the hdd rack will be used for the space of the 7" LCD for monitoring Liquid cooling + Over clocking.
The bottom 3 will be used for components of the liquid cooling, the resevoir will be kept inside on that space as well as the pump.

Hit up Harbor Freight if you have one in your town. They've got some pretty decent airbrushes dirt cheap, along with air compressors. You'll want a 3 gallon compressor at the absolute bare minimum.

Well the thing is, I have about 4 different compressors around my house, all different sizes and stuff. Is there anyway you can find a converter for the hoses to the airbrush?
On another note here are the pics with the removed HDD bays, the liquid cooling is ready to go in!

I've used plumbing fittings from the hardware store for that in the past.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Due to a recent idea, I am able to finish this project. Also, due to a recent donation, I will also be using 4x 120gb across RAID 0 configuration.
Can't tell you what the idea is 'till its finished.

First update in a while, this project is going to be at a slow pace I guess. No worries though updates will come in no time.
I started to make the framework for the addition to be on top, where the power supply will be mounted.
This will be the back and mounting plate for the powersupply

This will be the top of the computer:

For the home-made liquid cooling system, I have ordered the bar stock for the water blocks. I guess I will have to use C11000 Alloy, but whatever it is what it is, I ordered it from here (http://store.electrical-insulators-and-copper-ground-bars.com/b-891-10-75-300.html).
Also the radiator has started construction.

Congratz on taking the plunge into custom W/C, 1 thing I urge you to do is not mix copper and alu, galvanic corrosion is very very bad lol. My alu CPU block top corroded in 2.5 months with anti corrosive coolant.

Thx and taken under consideration.Btw, I noticed when I went to finish the top extension and noticed how bad the paint job was and thought oh **** I forgot to sand it, so here it is all sanded and looking Sh*tty as can be!

Well Its been a few months and tons of progress has been made. I'll be posting in small doses. For now we have water cooling:
Well I went out and bought some 1cm thick copper blocks. It will be milled in about 5mm and the design will be posted later. For now here is my achievements on getting the blocks ready for the shop.
Here were the cleaning products and things recommended by my local metal shop so I went to work on making the water blocks shiny and ready.

http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/DSC_0491.jpg
There were 6 or seven of these, but didn't feel the need to show every one of them. I also worked on the Heater core, or radiator. This specifically came from a '77 bone ville for $17.99. I bought the 1/2" brass barbs on a plumbing store here on the net.
I cut off the old connectors:
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/rad.jpg
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/radside.jpg
Then 'sweated' barbs on with a propane torch and called it good and ready for painting.
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/sweatedvalves.jpg
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll86/kamoki11a/tapedrad.jpg
Things that I have done but yet to post:
-Extended my P4 connector
-Cut holes for my cable management plan
-Rotated Harddrive rack 90 Degrees and started building the PCB for them to slide in and out off of
-Painted and cut a hold for the weird PSU holder.

CANCELED
Why?
This mod was simply a fail from the beginning; it had no plan or theme and it was from thought without any specs. I was going for something impractical especially for a new modder. I want to actually plan a mod from start to finish, with 3d modeling and plans. Going from thought isn't a good idea, and I need inspiration for a mod theme. You will see a finished mod from me soon, don't worry, but this will not be it. The planned mod will be featured soon after I finished a review for Zen Toolworks.
Stay Tuned....
