Hey everyone,
I am starting a minor new project. (Much smaller scale than Heavy Water (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?p=190057#post190057)my other WIP) I have an Aprevia X-Qpack, which while a fantastic case is most regards, has some minor problems with heat. By minor I mean melting chipsets.
Ultimately I want to go to a nice compact liquid cooling system for this case, but that is not in the budget for today. The first things on the list are going to be the addition of a few intake fans, possible re-paint of the interior and some general sprucing up.
To start things off... the bare bones:

The Green PC in the background is my wife's PC that just underwent a simmilar process but I didn't think to make a worklog out of it.
The Cleaning:
As any PC is wont, it had accumulated a massive quantity of dust. So one of the first things I have started doing was just a general cleaning. I cracked open the power supply just to dust it out. However, the power-supply is due for replacement due to it being what a forum member called
The included PSU is a brick of compressed excrement (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&file=print&reid=79).
Sadly I don't have a pretty spare PSU, so it will get a grey brick for fitting purposes until a pretty replacement can be found.
Dis-assembled PSU for cleaning, salvage and probably flushing:
