Future Project: Vēnī, vīdī, vīcī!

Project Vēnī, vīdī, vīcī: will feature many things; in my main idea this will be a full house htpc. It will control various things through-out my house including speakers and lcd screens and multiple tv's.

I currently use the Verizon Fios Tv service and have found out a way how to externally control all boxes and tv sets. This will be great when trying to control my tv's and speaker system.

The build will have:
Pentium IIII 3.06GHZ CPU
2GB DDR Ram
2 TB 5400RPM hardrive
Geforce 5500 Fx

I already own all of the parts necessary except for the hard drives. The build will feature a cylinder shaped pc about 7" high and will have a built in fold-out Ipod Dock, and many other features.

I had draw up many plans but unfortunately my webserver is down installing a new OS so I am unable to access the pictures at the moment. I will post all material for the build later tonight.

This project will probably not start until around may-ish!

are you recycling parts from old builds?
because buying a new p4 for $80 isn't the best idea when you can get a decent amd dual core for much less

Nah Mate, I already own the motherboard im not buying. But if I were to I could get the CPU and motherboard for around $35; how are you coming up with $80?

Probably buying new ones from newegg, etc.
