From the workbench of member Mach (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/member.php?u=546), we see the emergence of a set of amplified speakers. Not any off the shelf speakers were going to fit in with his last project Cobra-matic (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10511).
Looking for a proper form to complement Cobra-matic, Mach found a pair of bakelite rotor controls that were used to adjust roof top antenna in the days before cable and satelite. To provide a bit of punch to the audio levels he purchased and assembled a 41hz.com AMP6 Basic kit. Once the kit was constructed he was able to fit it inside one of the rotor controls, and wired it to a pair of 2" Tang Band speakers. To keep the theme he used some braided-poly rope to sheath the wires. Now that he is just about finished with the speakers, he is on to the subwoofer!
