Meh. I'll take my dad's .270 any day of the week over that montrosity.

570 grain bullets? 150 grains is all you need for any North American big game. I hope I'm not sounding too pompous here, but that gun is for the guys that are trying to compensate for something.

They're like Ferrari's, totally powerful and totally unnecessary. Would I want one? Hell yes I would! Not for any practical use, just to show off. To use them like you would use a Ferrari, like a rich mans play thing.

I'd take an automatic sentry paint ball gun over one of those any day of the week though.

That's exactly what they are. Completely impractical in every way. I have to say I do love their .338 Lapua though.

Providing you don't own ammo for it, I don't mind that. Non-lethal (ie paint ball sentries) are an exception.

+1 i like the looks of the barrel.

if i every get a gun it will be a .22cal rifle as the ammo is cheap and it would just be for target practice kinda thing.

I have a pellet pistol (well two but one needs to be repaired) and a semi-auto .22 called "The Plinkster" (no I did not name it that, lol. That is the brand name). My bro stole my scope so I have to use a spare red dot sight that I have as my rifle has no iron sights.

I think anything more powerful than you need to hunt with is stupid. Guns of that power are made for two things: killing people or large animals, and taking down asteroids like someone already mentioned.

(Note: That is my personal opinion and you need not agree with me.)

This is off subject but did anyone else hear about that asteroid that almost hit us? It's amazing how quickly everything can come tumbling down into chaos and destruction by a seemingly random event.

Lethal ammo isn't lethal, lethal people with lethal ammo are lethal. ;)

I would definitely own ammo for it, but only for things like target practice. ...or massive zombie break outs. :p
