Durrthock
12-27-2005, 09:12 PM
it has 4 screens fixed link... And i just bought the mouse and the keyboard

12-27-2005, 09:22 PM
i think 4 is a litttle overkill. Like in a fps, how would you be able to watch the whole screen?

Durrthock
12-27-2005, 09:27 PM
mabie but ide probabily use one as at tv anyway

And people say that I'm extreme....... go for a X2 4800+, get water cooling and overclock the sucker

EDIT: ADvice, if you want better gaming performance go for some nice OCZ ram, it's better performance.

ah very nice but i'd go with dual opterons myself...like they did for DMX, the latest dream machine from maximum PC. it was here in SF on tour before christmas and got to see it go....it is dual everything lol :p was awesome, so fast, but also expensive...over $12K  hehe lol ;P but i want one anyway!!! :D

Just remember, that currently with SLI you have to re-boot to switch from SLI mode to std mode which will support multi-monitors. SLI does not.

Of course, it would be something to remember if you were building the system....

Yay, because I love reading threads about pipe dreams that are completely unrealistic. 'I want to turn my computer into a hovercraft and have it float around the room... with working lasers and little animatronic men that operate it and will be my friends, and ...'

but seriously, why post this thread? why in ideas? why? I can appreciate that it would be a cool computer [actually it would probably be HOT] but its like going to a car forum and talking about how you plan on putting sub woofers in your Enzo as soon as it arrives... cough uncough; Just dont.

Was that harsh? I don't know.. I hope I didn't sound harsh, I just have a low tolerance for stupid, no offense  There I go again. I'm gonna hit post before I dig myself in so deep I can never climb out.

you know this set is nice but dont you think 4 42" flat screens are alittle much... I mean it seems like a little too much eye ground to cover. but thats just me.

Yeah. Personally, an Apple 30" Cinema Display would be perfect for me. Then again, an extra would be okay.

whenever doing a multi screen setup, i try to use an odd number of displays because looking at the seam right in the middle of my fov irritates the h311 out of me

 There I go again. I'm gonna hit post before I dig myself in so deep I can never climb out.

Now Wait a minute!!! I'm building my little Round Animatronic Friend, and Allot of people have told me I was stupid. He11 Even my family thought I was nutz to think about doing it....You know what Now that I've got the bulk of my "Little animatronic MaN" sitting in my house, everyone thinks it's cool and that I've gotta hobby , (Now my wife she's peeved cause he's all over the guest room, and the office, and the living room and the garage....I think there's R2 parts in every room of the house...save for 2 The bathroom and our bedroom. ;) )

Why post an Idea like this? because someone may get inspired by it and build a hover PC or A Droid! In fact Before this Idea zone was started I was looking into building a "Hovering" PC for my next mod... It's a place to let you mind wonder and feed the Creativity of others.....THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE ITS ART!!!! Enjoy it....I get a kick out of everyone's Ideas...Even more when I see 2 or 3 guys share Ideas and then someone starts a case on it and it's totaly diffrent then what they thought they wanted to build when they started.

I HAte see prudish heels try and kick someone for thinking crazy, cause with out the Crazy unrealistic thinkers we'd still be sitting infront of our Eggshell color boxes!

I like the concept , it will be great. I had a case like the one you are using but clear. I found with the motherboard attached to the left side it was a problem changing drives, for a better system check out
