I'm looking for a small (very small) 12v DC power supply with at least 250Watts.

It's the key to a contingency plan I have in mind ,allowing me to run my new 220Watts worth of Delta Fans independently of the computer controlling the other computer that communicates with the computer that drives my watercooling system (jeeze... this project is getting complicated Haha)

I searched the Internets on the Google machine but didn't find too many cost viable solutions.
I'm sure there's at least one person here who's seen such an item, and can be of assistance.
Points in any direction would be helpful at this time.

My priority with this item is it needs to be as small as possible and I'm not one to sacrifice quality so no ebay cheapo's.

Thanks in advance. =)

A 300W PSU is never going to be small...

If it's going to be visible:

or alternatively, the second one down here:
http://www.mpja.com/viewallpict.asp?dept=5 at 4.9" is narrow enough to fit inside a PC case.

If price is no worry then it's not to hard to find them, but otherwise good luck.
250W $100:

125W $80each, get 2 of these, they're tiny.

Those are USD, I dunno the exchange rate, and I'm pretty sure they can ship to Canada.

Is this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817374002) small enough? It might work, but some of the others already listed would probably be better.

I don't know why this was moved to trading post... I'm not looking to buy one from the community - I'm just looking for product advice.
Anyhoo. no bigdeal.

A traditional PC PSU is no good they are all too big, even the Shuttle stuff.
A Pico PSU is no good either because they use a bulky external transformer.

The best option I've found so far is this:
http://www.trcelectronics.com/Meanwell/mps-200-12.shtml
however its still too big for my ideal circumstances, and it's only 200W.

The prices of the units you've liked are about in the ball part (max ~$200) but they are either too big or don't take a 120V input. The Pico PSUs

I need a PSU with the following criteria:
120V AC input (I want to plug it into a wall)
12V DC output
at least 250Watts
and abouttwice as small as this standard Meanwell PSU (http://www.jab-tech.com/Meanwell-320w-Auxiliary-Power-supply-S320-12-pr-3828.html)

The device can be quite long (up to 18") but it cant be much more than 1" tall and no more than 5" wide.

Those don't run from mains power though.

Don't Deltas pull alot of amps, so psus like the picos aren't gonna cut it?
How many Deltas are you using? (So we can figure minimum amps)
