That is one sexy looking netbook. All I can say is... Please be affordable, please be affordable, please be affordable!

All I can say is "please come in colors other than brown!"

That, or please come in Bamboo! Now that would kick ass! And also probably drive the price up a billion kagillion dollars.

I have a feeling that Apples new "secret" project is going to be similar to this thing. Maybe not in form factor but in everything else. Well, I guess that is pretty standard for tablets so its probably a pretty safe bet. lol

But I would love to see that, only macbook air thin (but without the tapered edges, make it more like the new macbooks), not super pricey, and in all the colors of the rainbow. I think I'll get two out of three of those wishes, bet you can't guess which one. /s

On another note, I was just thinking how stupid it is that it doesn't have a track pad. ....DUH! Its a freaking touchscreen! lol

Looks awesome, I second the affordability. I think that is actually leather, no offence to the enviro guys but I do not particularly care for this trend in computer equipment. Not my personal style.

I completely agree actually. I like woods, but not leathers. When I actually glanced at that first picture, I thought it was like a sunburst orange (http://www.gmcars.no/coloradofullsizepicture_2-filer/image008.jpg). THAT would look great in my opinion.

It looks like someone took the color from a Slim JIm. Pretty cool. They actually have something that isn't corporate gray for once. :)

It's fake, old concept that they don't plan on making.

I think the super widescreen ar would drive me crazy. Look at a webpage: scroll, scroll, scroll . . . scroll . . . , etc.

It would make for a good organizer-type-dealio. I don't even think it should be called a netbook... it seems like more of a glorified PocketPC.

"Update: The mystery is solved, folks. According to Johnson Li, the director of Lenovo's Beijing Innovation Center, the device is a two-year-old laptop design concept that features a leather exterior and detachable keyboard. You know what? We still want one."

Lame.

Well, if anyone still wants one, the Vaio P Series looks pretty much identical to these netbooks, or pocketbooks, or whatever you want to call them. Unfortunately, be prepared to pay out the wahzoo for one, and don't expect too much out of it.

Shun the greedy bastards, Charlie! Shuuuunnnnn!

I have a perfectly fine Palm Lifedrive with the HDD. I surf, I read books(really old classic SciFi) and it fits in a jacket pocket. I know about scroll, scroll, scroll, but I have vertiacl and horizontal mode.
I like antique stuff - 3 yrs. old.
