All I can say is, it is going to be one hell of a mod. I'm definitely doing this one before I go off to college. The design is to not use kits or anything like that, but actual old computer hardware. I might even find some vintage transistors and neon number tubes. For once, I'm not doing a window. It is going to be covered from top to bottom in used-to-be top-of-the-line "elderly hardware."
I might even include the obligatory 9 volt battery and buttons from my old TI-30.

Alright, so I have raked up some antiques that this thing is going to be using. I've decided I needed to use the old Diamond S3 Virge for something, and it's dual-computing glory will do just fine for making this a little more special. :D
I'm currently working on a few modifications to some parts.

Let's see some pics! I'm all about old-school computing.

Sorry, always wanted to legitimately use that. Lets see some pics and give us an idea as to what its gonna look like!

I have the pics. This is some of the hardware I will be using to work on the outside of the case. I keep pulling down stuff. lol.

I also took out the internals of this power supply (it has been off for years, and dead, so yeah) and popped a molex connector on the fan. I reversed the fan so that it would blow inwards.

Haven't done much with it this week. I am thinking of what to do... Schematics are forming in my head as the gears turn slowly... lol.
