TBCS Vent server?

I know we have a ton of gamers here and I think it'd be pretty awesome to team up and share a large server.

Members may vote/request new channels for games they think would be vent worthy.

I'm willing to host or pay for hosting but small donations would be highly appreciated. The average prices I've found for servers are 15 dollars for 50 slots and 20 dollars for 75 slots.

Well since I own a few servers, I might be able to host a few vent servers. There is no promises right now at the moment, but I'll also talk to my sponsor. If it doesn't work out I'll donate $10 a month.

I want a vent server! We should get one with like 10 spots to see if anyone will come on then expand.

The problem with a small server is there are too many of us that play too many different games so there's a chance that each of us could be in a different channel lol.

I was thinking a 50-75slot server simply because IF the worst case scenario did appear, and each of us were in separate channels, we could still have plenty of room for 10 or so separate small clans.

With 10 slots, I may as well just host. I have a pretty decent ISP so I'll get it set up and see how it turns out. Problem is, is both my laptop and desktop are on wireless ATM. I set the desktop up in another room and found out that the cable line showing was dead... so out of laziness I bought a cheap pci wireless adapter.

I do have a P4 desktop laying around somewhere that I could cram into a small case though. Problem with THAT though is I don't have a VGA monitor. I figure I can set up the vent box at a friends house and run it to the tv screen though which is where the router and modem are (on top of the entertainment center).

Or... someone else could host. lol

I can't afford to donate but I'm interested because I used to love the old TBCS teamspeak server. Never used it for gaming though, just chit chattin w/ the boys.

Immah be moving into a house probably that has some static ips so that i may be able to host something.
