This thread will serve as the place for you to post your photos and write-ups of what you took and what you added to the TBCS TGIMBOEJ. This is a mandatory step to the project and this gives you a place to thank those who added items that you found useful. Please lets keep this thread free of general conversation. Lets stay on topic and limit our comments to the box, contents, and any nice things you would like to say.

Want to get on the list to receive the box? Follow this link.http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18152

Ok even though I have not picked up a box yet I am going to go ahead and post the things I am going to be putting in it.

Contents of box.
A. Train sound board.
B. 4 Photo Flash boards. 2 with and 2 Without Capacitors.
C. Approximately 15 feet of 60/40 solder.
D. Super bright Led Either UV or Orange
E. Cool Steam Punk looking speaker. Some paint and it would look nice.
F. O'riley Auto Parts screw driver. Reversible tip.
G. 4pin screw on connector.
H. Magnet from old speaker.
I. Tiny red led in plastic holder.
J. Weird clip on thing. has "not for climbing" stamped on it.
K. 5x black bic pens. Make great coil gun barrels
L. 400v 180uf capacitor. When charged this thing is dangerous.
M. 4way RCA female connector.
N. 8x working laser pointers.
I forgot to label the motor. it came out of an old tape player. Maybe it will come in handy.

This is a sound board that makes train sounds. Might be neat for a train case. This photo shows where to add the switch and the power leads.

Photo flash boards out of disposable cameras. These are great to make coil guns or rechargeable battery rejuvenation. (search instructables)

Close up of the laser pointers and the pens. The pens make great coil gun barrels. All the laser pointers work to my knowledge. They would light up a etched case window nicely. Much brighter than leds could.

Another close up of some of the things.

Closeup of a very large capacitor I salvaged from an old CRT monitor.

Nice. I might be using a speaker. I have a motor and some other stuff from a dead DVD/VCR, as well as other random computer parts.

What I included are, an knot meter gauge like this: http://www.defender.com/images/251138.jpg, a macerator pump, similar to this: http://www.smartmarine.co.nz/images/large/jabsco%20macerator%20pump.jpg, some capacitors, and a Cooler Master drive bay cover.

The box is in town, but not in my possesion--I missed the mailman this afternoon. I will look the contents over (that gauge has my curiosity piqued) and plan on adding the following:

A Creative Nomad Jukebox that I bought off of Ebay a long time ago dirt cheap. Doesn't quite do what I need it to do (without buying a pretty spendy preamp anyways). I'm sure someone can find a good use for it. It's about the same size as a portable CD player (remember those?!?)

And I also plan on adding a handful of LEDs, in various colors. And maybe a piece or two out of that grab bag I purchased from Crimson Sky a couple years back.
