If you're not familiar with Hamachi, it's about time you found out about it. I don't have the time, nor the knowledge (heh), to get into what makes it so incredible, but the best info about it can be found in episode 18 and 19 of the fantastic podcast Security Now with Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson (http://www.grc.com/securitynow.htm).

The link the Hamachi site is hamachi.cc (http://www.hamachi.cc/), and it basically allows you to create secure VPNs (virtual private networks) VERY easily, VERY securely, and is VERY inteligently designed.

If you have any interest in setting up a VPN, you need to check out Hamachi. Listen to the podcasts, they really explain the pros, cons and uses of the program.

Very cool!! I really need to catch up on my podcasts! The holidays have really cut into my listening time. I have been using the SSL Explorer (http://www.sslexplorer.com/showSslExplorer.do) package they spoke about in podcast 14 and 15. Its not a full blown VPN solution but does a nice job for not having to install a client.

Thanks for the heads up Rank!!
