A new face

Well it was time to take one a simple mod, one that could be completed within a week and actually look nice. There was an XBOX laying around the house so

I decided to give it a makeover, for now its just the make over. It will include a paint job and a stencil paint job. Actual modifications will be added later such as the DVD drive window and an extra fan for when I use it as a DVR (it will be on all the time).

So Far I have tapped it down and added the first coat of white paint! I was originally thinking of only doing the 2 coats of white and adding the clear gloss finish, but it looks like I might do 3 coats of white...

I have bought stencils for skulls that I will be putting on the' 'old box, and I think it might looks pretty cool.

Second Coat was added, now its clean-up time. All those areas I missed with the tape will now face alcohol. The Green 'Xbox' Logo will need some good cleaning up.

That's one thing I have yet to figure out when it comes to painting. I can never seem to get a nice clean edge. I've tried all kinds of painter's tapes, but to no avail. Still looks good though and is coming along nicely. Good job. :up:
