Some civil rights group here bought up everyone in sight and were reselling them in lexan cases with an "autograph" from Spidy and Obama" for $100 each. People were actually buying them too thinking they had an actual autograph from both.... I died a little inside that day as my faith in humanity diminished even more.

Because he's a super hero god savior... isn't that what all the sheeplets say? I think this really demonstrates how far they've overdone it.

EDIT: I thought I should note... regardless of your political stance, I don't believe anyone or anything should be crammed down peoples throats.

Taking the high road, comics have always woven celebrity and famous figures into their story lines as a way to stay relevant and topical.

Low road? Whatever sells, story be damned.
