okay, so i just bought some plexiglass for an acehardware... and i was wondering if to mount it i should drill holes and use rivits.... but since ive already painted that panel i dont really want to have to drill through it, so i was wondering... what other ways are there to mount it to the side panel?
jb weld work?

(or do i have to cut it to size of the hole and use some kind of molding stuff?)

JB Weld doesn't work so well with plexi IMO... automotive trim tape (two-sided tape) works just fine. You can get it at any auto parts store.
I assume your putting the plexi on the inside of the panel....

or, just an idea, you can use this stuff called plastic welder that you can pick up at pretty much any hardware store. i have used it to glue many a plastic items to metal and it has worked out great.

Just like digital_exhaust said, I have used the foam based 3M doublestick tape.. Worked really well.. and if you put automotive door edge guard around the cut metal edge it does a pretty good job of making up for the gap the foam tape leaves, plus if gives it a nice finished look.

There is a clean jelly like double side tape with a 2-5 lb test. It works great, made my 3m. That way when you have the side off, you dont have this ugly foam tape taking away from the window.

That is awsome!! I will have to keep an eye out for that! That will look alot better then having to try and paint or cover the area were the tape is.. Thanks for the info!!

I'm going to use aerospace adhesive. I'm not joking... It's $10 for a 4oz. bottle I think. I'm going to get it form the guy who did all the fiberglass work on my MR2. If you thought that ANY stuff you've used was strong, you ain't seen nothin' yet...
