4-pin or 8-pin?

I bought a new motherboard, due in tomorrow, and I was just looking more closely at the pic. Where my other boards have had a 4-pin power connector near the CPU socket this one has what looks like an 8-pin connector, but in the pic four of the pins are covered with a plastic cover? It's labeled EATX12V, will I be able to use this with a standard 4-pin power outlet?

You can use ATX12v, but it's better to use the full 8 pins.

yes you can use it with your standard 4 pins:) the other is just "backup power" as far as i remember or some shiz
