Whoa, that's awesome. I want one fashioned after a Temple of NOD (from CnC) for the heck of it.

Not sure if these are the same ones, but close enough!

I was not expecting them to be so affordable!

Oh cool. Problem is I don't think I have ~$240 or so plus importing fees or whatever to get one.
EDIT: You need servos, batteries, etc. for them as well... that seems to be just the frame.

$240? Aren't they more around $160?
**Ahh wait never mind. I just read that the kid doesn't come with all of the electronics. lame.

By the way, with all the best components on that website it's closer to 800 pounds.

So what we're looking at here, for a fully decked out one, is £772.29. DAMN. Never mind about affordable! lol
Thats like $1200 or something like that?
(by the way, the way I convert is by cutting the price in half, then adding that half onto the original price. So half of basically 800 would be 400, so add 400 onto the 800 and you get 1200. Not sure if its right though. lol)

I bet they would be vastly cheaper if you bought the parts yourself and made everything yourself. That would of course require proper technical know-how, but meh, its the freaking internet. Who needs know-how when you have google? lol
Anyone know anything about robotics and would like to take a guess at a DIY price range?
