I have been messing around with the Kerkythea rendering engine. Here are some experiments I did with some light panels and different material settings.
Thought maye some of you might enjoy them.

Link to app (http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=42&func=download&id=64&chk=19e5d32624a87d99719efc69d58efe98&no_html=1&fname=Kerkythea2008.exe) if anyone wants to give it a try.

Not bad for a free 3mb app!

After trying it out I must say it's much less user friendly than Cinema 4d. Then again, it's free.

Agreed, but I don't think that Kerkythea was really intended for modeling, but more for rendering for other apps such as Blender, POV-Ray, or even Sketchup.

Your download link is flawed.. but never fear anyone interested can download it from ... http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/
