Hello everyone! I am a newbie here and this will be my first serious pc modding.

Idea to modding PC come before 2 years, when I found this webpage. I read a lot of your worklogs and then I got inspiration. In begining I needed a PC case. Something simple without any holes or irregular shapes. After few spended hours in internet I found really cheap and simple case. It cost ~35$

Here you can see few pictures of my new case.

Let`s open a box!

Hmm, why I cant`t see pictures? I use imageshack toolbar. I just drop pictures in my post, browser automaticaly upload it and generate code.

Nice model, sounds like a good start. Mods don't have to be highly detailed to be beautiful. I'll look forward to seeing you put this project into motion my friend. by the way, where are you from?

Let`s start project with window cutting.

Prepared for cutting.
http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/6229/9medium.jpg

To cut a window I use dremel. It is a little bit difficult to cut a window with dremel because it cut`s metal very bad. Cutting edges are very sharp.

After cutting I use a file and sandpaper to smooth the edges.

First job done! :)

Ooh, I like those circles there. Here's some +rep to get you started - nice cutting! You may be new to modding, but you aren't new to the Dremel, are you?

Nice artistic design. And like Jon said; not all mods have to be difficult to hold its own beauty.

Hmm, I had practised how to use dremel before this Pc-mod. :D

PS. I am from Latvia. Probably you don`t know where it is :D

Ok, today it`s time to show you what I have done.
I prepared case for painting and painted it. After painting I cut three small windows in case top side.

Here you can see prepared case. How you can see, one color will be orange.

Personally I like colors. Case looks really good. In picture colors are a little bit pale. In real life colors are more colorful. These pictures had been taken with phone camera.

Hi, I am back. Sorry for so long time without any updates. I just take a few weeks from modding :D

Ok, it`s time for a new update :)

Since last time, I have made a side panel for case. I fixed a plexi glass to window and graved a plexi glass with a PCB layouts.

Something like this:
http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/263/pcbmedium.gif

Few pictures how it`s made :D

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1866/1168571539medium.jpg

Ooou, I almost forget, I made a small grill for these 3 holes in window :)

http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/5363/16medium.jpg

How you can see, to fix a plexi glass to window I use a hot glue. It`s very practical glue. You don`t have to wait when glue dry. Wait few minutes and it`s ready.

Thats all today, but I try to be in touch, and give more updates, as soon as possible. :)
