Alright, so thats slightly misleading. Its actually 25 hours on idle. But hell, thats still plenty of awesome! Especially with 10.5 hours of constant web browsing!

Netbooks rule, notebooks drool!

Except, you know, when it comes to raw power and screen size. Can't have everything, right?

Apparently HP has been working on a 24 hour battery for regular laptops too

Doesn't Dell already have a full notebook with 19-ish hour battery life?

I'm not a very big fan of those "extra slice" batteries. But even-so, thats a pretty alright looking laptop.

Looks like HP has an even better one at 24 hours. I'd take a netbook over a full size laptop any day though. High portability, excellent battery life, very light weight, doesn't cost a small fortune. All-in-all, I would say the netbook is the way to go for the average "road warrior". Thats basically the sole reason why they were created, for the road warrior types.

Yeah, the HP is a *bit* nicer looking. I just got the eee 1000HA, 7 hours of battery life if I dim the screen and turn off wifi, it's excellent. Battery does stick out a bit at the bottom, but it adds a kind of nice slope to the keyboard when it's on a table.
