I took a quick look into anodising my aluminium case myself but decided against it due to the difficulty and risks involved.
I recently got in contact with a local (South Australia) anodising place called "Key Manufacturing"
They said they would annoidse the whole case for around $60 aud (which equates to probably around $40 US) which was a big supprise as I was expecting around $150.
There conditions were that it had to be no bigger than 3m x 2m which isn't going to be a problem and that it had to be made from aluminium, again no problem!
They also do powder coating but I forgot to ask about that.. bugga.
I hope the other south aussies here find this info useful :) but yeah I thought getting a company to do a one off anodise would be quite expensive.
