Was going to ask more or less the same thing. I'm thinking of getting one of the 150W ones for a project I'm going to do after the semester is over. Was wondering what people think of them (heat wise, and how well they work in general).

I love my 80W.

Oh guys, I should give you all a heads up about these, if you get the 150W version, and have an intel mini itx board such as the DQ45EK you won't be able to fit memory in that has the heat sinks/spreaders due to clearance issues. See the following images showing a normal, non-heatsink memory barely fitting.

Man, the point-n-shoot is a real pain to get the correct focus to show what's happening here. Those were the best three pictures from about 30 that I took. So I guess the DHX Corsair memory I wanted to use is a no-go. Oh, and as you can probably guess I'm going to have a project log starting soon :).

That's one of my gripes with all the PicoPSUs, they interfere with the DIMM slots on a lot of boards. The other gripe is that while they have a 150 watt model, they don't sell a 150 watt power brick that works with them. If all you can get is a 102 watt brick, it sure isn't a 150 watt power supply.

Yeah, that's what I've ended up with a 102 watt brick, but it is still way overkill for the Celeron 430 that is going to be on the board.

If it doesn't fit with your memory, you can always get a 20+4 pin atx power extender.

I did think about the adapter, I'd have to mod it to be shorter (no problem there). The only good thing is I don't have the memory yet. The set I was going to use is in my desktop (see "My System" specs) so I may just order a 2x2GiB Corsair, Kingston, or Crucial "OEM" style kit.

I guess you don't really need much for an Intel atom, so that should be fine.
