I have a P4P800SE mobo. Here's the link:

When I tried to boot my computer after getting back from the holidays, nothing USB will work! Thinking it might be windows, I reinstalled with no luck. Anything I plug into the sockets seem to be getting power but windows just doesn't recognize it.

Going into the device manager, it shows all the USB root hubs and host controllers as functional and operating.

Does this sound like a mobo problem? I can't think of anything else to check... :?

have you tried putting your usb devices on another computer. Just to make sure it is not the device

Not yet, but everything was working after the holidays.

I think I've decided that it must of been a static jolt that just knocked out the usb functionality of my southbridge. I'm looking into getting a usb pci card instead of getting a new mobo with my fingers crossed that I don't find anything else that doesn't work.;)
