Hey,

Well as some of you know I am making a home-made liquid cooling system, and I came into a problem. O rings, looky below. I need some custom O rings but I'm not exactly sure where to go and get some custom O rings made. Any ideas?

I'm not sure you need a custom o-ring. You just need to know the length needed. O rings are flexable enough that a round one will make many shapes. Just don't try to do sharp corners (the metal may cut the ring). if your length needed is in between two sizes get a couple o-rings of the smaller and the larger size (O-rings have tolerances too so just because the say 1-1/4" doesn't me it's not closer to 1-3/8" or it could be 1-3/16" too)..add in the stretch factor and you should be good worst case your out $2 for the total cost of the o-rings.

There is a rubber sheet that you can buy at some auto-parts store just use an exato knife to cut the inside and out side shape. (we used this on test fixture for automotive engines when I worked in MI..) Sorry I don't know the name of the stuff, just that it's orange in color and came in sheets of various sizes (sheet size (L x W) and thickness), if you go this way let me know I can call a friend and see if he has the name and manufacture of it.

Always cool to see custom WB self made here :)
