I had been using iconx for a while and it was all fine then suddenly it all froze, i rebooted I uninstalled, reinstalled and still it crashes my pc ? It even came up with a warning after one reboot that windows had removed a active desktop item,.
Is there any others that are basically the same as Iconxso I can make large buttons with states for my touch screen jukebox ..thanks or any ideas why it would suddenly make my pc crash ?

Check your event viewer for details on the crash.

I pressed delete/ctrl/alt and had a look at the task manager and the Iconx was running but taking 180,222kb which seemed a lot for a small program ? But not opening ?

Maybe reinstall that program, and see if that sorts the issue out.

Do you see any errors in the event viewer? 99% of the time, the event viewer will tell you exactly what happened and why.

Hi theres nothing in the events viewer, i deleted all events in the end and tried to open the iconX again a couple of times and then checked in the events and there were no errors, I tried on the task manager again and the memory usage on iconx was going up by the thousand of kb every second it got uo to 320,000 and still going up before i rebooted ?

Depending on the format of Icons that you need (png, ico) you could just use something like photoshop or gimp.

PNG icons ftw.

I got a reply back from the developers of iconx and they did a verifacation on the software and i uploaded a update and opened it and it still crashed ! What would cause a piece of software to crash all the time ? I was using it when it first crashed, it had worked for weeks and then suddenly it crashed and has never worked since ?

I noticed in the task manager that the physical memory was 523248 kb and avaliable was 3680 kb and cache was 14775 kb ?

First off, when exactly did this start happening? In other words, did you install anything else? It might be a conflict somewhere.

What operating system are you running?

Start - run - %temp%

Delete everything in this folder, and restart. Try again...
